I would rate this thread more highly, sadly the poor (lack of) punctuation in the OP lets it down.

Carlos Bacca is absolute quality.

Be proper happy if we got him.

Re: Carlos Bacca
not impressed??
you're crazy.

Proper top tier striker. No messing about. Who'd have thought we'd be in for a player of that level?

Would easily be the best player in the squad bar Payet. Just pay what they want and get him in.

You've got to love the imbeciles who comment on the grammar of the post, instead of the content. Basic I grant you; however, if it starts a discussion, it has succeeded.

Re: Carlos Bacca
Very good player indeed. Almost 30 tho so dont want to be paying over the odds.

I see Spurs have apparently dropped their interest in Batshuayi and want Embolo.

For what I have seen last season at Milan he's nothing special.

Is this not held up because some Chinese want to take over Milan? I read that all assets were frozen until the deal is done, or dropped.

That's a lot of bunce to spend on someone who's 30 in a few months

Re: Carlos Bacca
Pretty much guarantees goals if you look at his record.

Worst season 3 goals in 10 games, assume he was injured or out of favour?

Other than that, he's score at least 12 goals in every single season for the past 9 years.

He's also scored 20 or more in 3 of those seasons.

Not quite Zlatan Ibrahimovic but I think for a club of our size he'd be perfect.

Re: Carlos Bacca
For the record, his league scoring record:

2008 - 14 goals (Barranquilla)
2009 - 12 goals (Junior)
2010 - 18 goals (Junior)
2011 - 20 goals (Junior)
11/12 - 3 goals (Club Brugge)
12/13 - 25 goals (Club Brugge)
13/14 - 14 goals (Sevilla)
14/15 - 20 goals (Sevilla)
15/16 - 18 goals (AC Milan)

Re: Carlos Bacca
I trust Slav and Tony, and it's not my money, but we're pretty stuffed if it doesn't work out.

And why would Milan be willing to get shot after one season? That's a league where age matters less

Re: Carlos Bacca
AC looks to be the subject of a takeover, so this may have to be put on hold.
